Project Plan:

to install prototypes of Evergreen and Koha software, using FGCU as a test database
to compare the functionality of Evergreen and Koha with present Aleph functionality

Related Solr Project:

Gerald and Gail Lewis are working on an installation of the "Solr" open source enterprise search server.

Currently the local INSPEC data has been loaded into Solr and can be searched at http://fclnx18.fcla.edu:7070/catalog/, housed on FCLA's fclnx18 server. This is a test installation and a work in progress.
