LMS News: 6 March 2009Indexing NewsThe reindexing of the production databases for FSU and UNF has been completed. The new indexes for FSU were installed on Sunday 3/1/09. FSU staff reviewed the new indexes and approved them Tuesday morning. The updating of the Rept copy of Aleph was completed on Wednesday morning. FS Test was refreshed from FS Prod Wednesday afternoon. The redone bib headings indexes for UNF were installed on Sunday 3/1/09 as well. UNF staff reviewed the new indexes and approved them Monday afternoon. The updating of the Rept copy of Aleph was completed by Wednesday morning. NF Test was refreshed from NF Prod Wednesday afternoon. The new indexes for FGCU were installed on Thursday evening 3/5/09. FGCU is on spring break this week; they graciously agreed to having this done after 5pm. The indexes were installed and Production Aleph brought back up by 6:30pm. FGCU staff are reviewing the new indexes today. Meanwhile the reindexing process has begun for USF (on Monday 3/2/09) and FAMU (on Friday 3/6/09). It's been a busy week!
