" Initial FCLA attempt to install Nov. Service Pack on the DEV server failed and required ExLibris intervention. ExLibris appears to have corrected this problem with the Nov/Dec Service Pack install on the DEV server on 12/10/07.

Notes on Service Pack Installation
  • Service Pack installations are cumulative, so that all Aleph rep changes from the last installed change to the most recent rep change are installed during a Service Pack installation. For example: if the most recently installed Service Pack on the PROD server is the January 2008 Service Pack and the next Service Pack installation is scheduled for March 2008, the installation of the March 2008 Service Pack will also include the February 2008 Service Pack rep changes.
  • FCLA installs Aleph Service Packs on a bimonthly basis.
  • ExLibris usually issues Aleph Service Packs on an ordered yearly schedule, the SP release dates for 2008 are in January, April, July and October.
